ABSTRACT


Hollywood movie is one of the main industry in America, particularly in entertainment industry. Hollywood had also giving influence to movie industry in many countries. The influence that Hollywood gave in movie industry as known as Hollywodization. Hollywood becoming the one of income sources to US. Economic crisis was happened in 2008. The crisis gave impact to a whole life industry, included movie industry. Economic crisis in 2008 became a parameter how far hollywood movie industry could be existed in the bad situation. Even though US was recess in that time, hollywood movie industry still working as usual. Based on this explanation, this study will be focus on the growth of hollywood move industry in economic crisis 2008.
