The breeze laced with the scent

I am wondering if my sentence sounds natural. Would you please correct my mistakes? Is correct to say "wafted in" or should it be "wafted inside"?

The breeze laced with the scent of blooming flowers wafted in through the open window.

The added punctuation would be the only change I would make. Some people might think that a breeze is too strong to waft but since there isn't a word for a wind gentler than a breeze, I think it's OK.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
