    Plural verb confusion

    I get confused in verb usage when we have multiple subjects. See the statements below:

    This is for the first time that we nounce the Thought Leaders of the Quarter. Thank you all for an enthusiastic response. It is your persistent zeal and diligent efforts to share knowledge that have made this program a success.
    (Will this be have made this program or has made this program? and why?)

    Welcome to the forum.

    Before we attempt to answer your question, please tell us where you found these sentences (you must quote the author and source of anything you post that you did not write yourself). The first sentence, which I have quoted above, is completely ungrammatical and the word "nounce" does not exist.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
