A grand Pongal festival in Tamilnadu; People jump with joy.

Pongal festival is usually celebrate on the first day of the Thai month (Tamil month) every year. Residents who live in outsides went to their native and celebrating pongal with their families. They take shower very early in the morning and wearing a new dresses. They make pongal and then worship Sun God for a successful harvest.

“Cow Pongal” is planned to celebrate tomorrow. Farmers who grow up their pet cows and bulls will take them to bathe and decorate their horns with paints. They also pray cows and bulls for thanking since they play a vital role by working hard to help the farmers to raise crops on their fields. On that day, one of the Tamils heroic games of “ Jallikkattu” (BullEmbracing) will be held. However, by order of the Supreme Court Jallikkattu has not happened in the last two years. Due to this, there is question aroused among people whether” Jallikkattu” would be conducted.

teechar, did you mean for your correction to result in it saying that the farmers bathe, and then decorate their cattle's horns? I took the original to mean that they bathe the cattle, then decorate them.

No, indeed I did not. I meant to include "them" after "bathe."
