    Word "reminder"

I have tried to use "reminder" in my sentence. Would you please correct my mistakes?

The scars on John's body will be a constant reminder of the night he caused a traffic accident while driving drunk.

    Re: Word "reminder"

    There is nothing to correct.

I might add 'to him' after 'reminder', but that's a personal choice. Your sentence is fine as it is.

    Re: Word "reminder"

You might want to use present tense there, thus:

The scars on John's body are a constant reminder of the night he drove drunk and caused a traffic accident.
