    Bob first became aware of his naivety

    I am wondering if my sentence sounds natural. Is the position of the adverb " first" correct in this sentence?

    Bob first became aware of his naivety and immaturity when he moved to a large city.

    Yes, the sentence is natural and the adverb's in the right place.
