    deleted post

I don't have a delete button for some reason. I wanted to delete this post and this was the only way I could do it.

    Respectfully,
    Navi.

    Re: deleted post

Delete is only available for a short time- this is to stop people from posting huge essays, waiting for someone to do a lot of work and then deleting it, which was a problem we had in the past. If you need something to be deleted, let us know. If you make a mistake and you're quick, you can fix it.

I don't understand this. Are you asking us to delete a post or to check your text?

    Re: deleted post

    Thank you both very much,

I just wanted to delete the post because I noticed -after making the post- that I had been asked to refrain posting for a while. I thought it would be rude not to delete the post, but I couldn't delete it. So I opted for this solution, and as is often the case, created misunderstanding. My apologies.

    Gratefully,
    Navi.
