I woke to a man's face above me

I am wondering if my sentences sound natural. Would you please correct my mistakes?

I woke to a man's face above me. The man had thick eyebrows and dark piercing eyes. He shoved a gun into my face and told me to be silent.

    See above.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
