I am an outsider I came here to visit this city.

If you go to a place and somebody asks for direction can you say "I am an outsider I came here to visit this city?"

I want to go to that city just for visiting.

    Please check.

    (not a teacher)
I'd say something like "Sorry, I'm not from this city, so I can't help you."

Thank you for your help and time but I would like to know about "I came here to visit this city" and "I want to go to that city just for visiting". What I should be saying?

Write What should I be saying or, more naturally, What should I say. You always have to invert the subject and the verb to form a question.

You could say I'm from out of town. I came here to visit Dayton. I just want to go there for a visit.
    I am not a teacher.

    "I'm not from around here."

    'I'm a stranger here myself'.
