    In what possible everyday, real-life situation are you going to need to use these sentences?
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    There would be no reason to refer to the consent unless it were questioned. I see nothing in the first sentence to question a gift. If you had a verb like handed over, which could be a gift or a robbery, then you might want to look at the consent.
