Introduce someone to something to attend a course?

    Hello everyone,
    Is this structure normal?
"The institute has introduced Mr. X to the World Bank to attend the course."
I mean the institute has officially named Mr. X as its representative to attend a course run by the world bank.

    Yes,
but this is a process in which the institute officially tells the World Bank that Mr. X is going to attend the course.
Should I use the verb "introduce", "name",...?
I need an exact sentence that shows the introduction (??) of Mr. X to the Bank to attend that course.

    Try:
The World Bank has been informed that Mr X will be attending the course as the official representative of the ABC Institute.
