    chuck school

    Hello!

A young boy is thinking about his future. "Could I really chuck school?"

    Chuck school means abandon school?

    Thanks in advance!

Yes. Chuck is a slangy way to say "throw away".
    I am not a teacher.

    Re: chuck school

In BrE, it would be "chuck in".

I don't enjoy school. I'm thinking about chucking it in.
I might chuck in my job. I hate it!
