    How's the man?

    Hello!

An old man sees his young nephew and says "Hi, Peter! How's the man?" The nephew says "Not bad, Alex! You know something Mr. Smith, you're a good man."

How's the man? means How are you? Is it a informal way to greet a young boy?

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: How's the man?

Within that context, I assume it means "How are you?" but it's not a phrase I've come across before in that context.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
