The refurbished shelter for the homeless

I am wondering if my sentence sounds natural. Would you please correct my mistakes?

The refurbished shelter for the homeless provides for the people in need free board and lodging, medical help, showers, TV room, and even internet.

See above. There's no need for "for the people in need". You've already said it's a homeless shelter so it's clear they're in need.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
