    Reconstructing a sentence

    Please help reconstruct this sentences for report writing purpose.

    The lawyer alleged that the banks inability to provide the bond guarantee accounted for thier being disqualified from a contract

    Welcome to the forum.

    For a start, you have misspelt "their" and there is no final punctuation mark.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    I take it the reference is to several banks, if so use banks' in that sentence; otherwise, if it's just one bank, use bank's.
