    The increasing pressure on the NHS

    I am wondering if my sentence sounds natural.

    The increasing pressure on the NHS during winter is all but causing the collapse of the system.

    I think "increased" would work better than "increasing" in the above.

    The pressure is still increasing so I think it's the appropriate word.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
