    He learned them to undersrand him correctly.

    It is correct sentence?

    I'm not sure what you mean, however. Are they dogs and he taught them to understand his voice commands?
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
