    The bare-chested farmer was digging

I am wondering if my sentences sound natural. I tried to describe a farmer in the field.

The bare-chested farmer was digging with his spade in the field. The sun was scorching, and his body was wet with sweat, drops of which beaded on the tip of his nose and fell down every time he moved a spadeful of soil.
