    Re: Persuasive essay

    Opposing ideas:
    1. Immunization is not as effective in developing countries as developed one because of several reason.
    2. The basic needs are incomplete in developing countries which have to fulfill before immunization.
    3. The medication only cure the disease not the cause of diseases.

    3. The medication only cure the disease not the cause of diseases.[OK; same as opposing point #3 in post #8 above]
[You can also use opposing point #2 in post #8 above]
You could have also mentioned the humanitarian aspect in the supporting points.

Now you need to decide which position to take (for or against the idea). Which one do you want to adopt- for or against?

    For practice, yes.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Yes, but not at this stage!

Just choose one position for now- either for or against. DO NOT write the essay at this stage. Just choose your position and let us know what it is.

Ok. I Agree with the statement that the U.S. should support developing countries with immunization efforts.

    Re: Persuasive essay

Okay, take supporting points #1 and #3 from post #12, as well as my suggested point about the humanitarian aspect, and write a clear, simple and direct sentence for each. You can number the sentences 1,2 and 3.

By the way, how many words is this essay supposed to be?

    Re: Persuasive essay

    1. It is necessary to work together to eradicate those maladies.
2.Every year in the U.S., thousands of extra medications are produced and purchased for health.
3.It is our moral duty to help those who are dying.

    Re: Persuasive essay

Good. You can use each of these sentences as the topic sentence for a body paragraph. Take each one (as amended) and develop the idea further (explain and give examples where appropriate). Do not stray off topic; it is important to remain within the scope of the paragraph as defined by the topic sentence. Write your three body paragraphs and post them below.
