In BrE, we talk about getting bones stuck in your throat rather than your gums.

Talking to a child grabbing a fire roasted fish and about to bite into it like a burger...
Parent: Hey, don't eat the fish like that. You might _____________.
It's supposed to be something along the lines of "get fish bones stuck in your gums / throat."
Is that how you say it? Or is there a better way?

In BrE, we talk about getting bones stuck in your throat rather than your gums.
They frequently get stuck in/between your teeth.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
