    Word Order

Be so kind and check these sentences in terms of their correctness.

    1. To preserve our natural resources we have taken effective measures.
    2. We have taken effective measures to preserve our natural resources.

    3. To solve traffic problems in big cities strict measures have to be taken soon.
    4. In big cities strict measures have to be taken soon to solve traffic problems.
    5. In big cities strict measures have to be taken to solve traffic problems soon.

    1. To preserve our natural resources, we have taken effective measures. With the addition of the comma, it's correct.
    2. We have taken effective measures to preserve our natural resources.
    3. To solve traffic problems in big cities, strict measures have to be taken soon. With the addition of the comma, it's correct.
    4. In big cities, strict measures have to be taken soon to solve traffic problems. With the addition of the comma, it's correct.
    5. In big cities, strict measures have to be taken to solve traffic problems soon. With the addition of the comma, it's correct but the position of "soon" in #4 is more natural.
    See above.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: Word Order

    Thanks for your help.
It's a bit funny.I firmly assumed it was the other way round.
I thought sentence No 5 sounds more natural.

Please take also a look at the following sentence.
She was taken to hospital with a suspected pulmonary embolism.
With a suspected pulmonary, embolism she was taken to hospital.

With a suspected pulmonary (no comma here) embolism, she was taken to hospital. Grammatically correct but it's not a natural word order.
    See above.

In your first post, the reason #4 sounds more natural is that I take it that the strict measures have to be taken soon, rather than the solving of the traffic problems having to happen soon. The first needs to happen in order for the second to happen.
