3) As far as I remember, this is what he did:...
4) This is what I remember he did:...
The phrases would be continued by what the speaker remembers he did/said.
Is there any difference between the meanings of '1' and '2'?
I think there is more doubt expressed in '1' than in '2'. '2' seems to be saying I am sure he told me the following, but he might have told me other things which I have forgotten.
'1' on the other hand seems to indicate that the speaker is not quite sure that he or she remembers correctly.
