live not too remote / remotely

What is the correct word to be used in the following sentence?

    1) I wouldn't like to live remote from the city center.
    2) I wouldn't like to live remotely from the city center.
If I were a native speaker of English, I would never shut up. :-)

    Neither is natural.

    I'd use far.
