    blizzards meaning

Can anyone help me to understand the meaning of Blizzards?

I am reading a text about China and I found this sentence:

"In the noodle shops along the ancient streets, the plates come in small blizzards."

What is a blizzard? I can't find any meaning related to a plate or food.

    Thanks

    Re: blizzards meaning

    Which text is that from?

Can you provide a link or give us the whole paragraph?

    Re: blizzards meaning

It's figurative. It means there are a lot of plates. In a blizzard there's a lot of snow.

ALWAYS start sentences with a capital letter. ALWAYS end them with a period, question mark, or exclamation point.
