    Peter peeled a boiled egg

Would you please correct the mistakes in my sentences?

Peter peeled a boiled egg, watching his wife at the stove brewing tea. She was wearing an expensive dress, and he wondered where did she get the money. He bit into the egg and it burned his gum.
