    EVANESCENT : DISAPPEAR

In each of the following questions, a related pair of words or phrases is followed by five lettered pairs of words or phrases. Select the lettered pair that best expresses a relationship similar to that expressed in the original pair.
    EVANESCENT : DISAPPEAR

    1. Transparent, penetrate
    2. Onerous, struggle
    3. Feckless, succeed
    4. Illusory, exceed
    5. Pliant, yield.

    Evanescent means quickly disappear.
    pliant means quickly yielding.

Transparent, Penetrate and Onerous, Struggle doesn't seem to have that "quick" effect.
And other options doesn't agree in their meanings.

    So answer is 5.

I don't have the official key. But I have seen many people who say 1 or 2.
What is the correct answer ?
