    there was the man injured...

    1) There was the man injured on the second floor.

    I think this sentence could work in a list:

    How many people did you evacuate?

    -There was the man injured on the second floor. There were the girls who were asphyxiating on the fourth. And there was the man on the sixth who had a panic attack.

    Is that correct? Does '1' work in that context?

    Is there any other context where '1' could work?
