Hello,
Please review this paragraph of comparing two authors view.
Quincy Adams speech disagree with Albert Beveridge speech in terms of foreign affairs involvement.
In my opinion Quincy Adams speech is fair because it is against the United States violation and involvement in other countries Freedom and liberty by force, As he said “America goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy”. But Amercia will influence the other countries by giving good examples.
However, Albert Beveridge opinion in how the United States should act with the rest of the world is unfair because he thinks that the United States needs to impose rules and acquire territories without their consent so America leads the world in all areas by saying “We govern the Indians without their consent, we govern our territories without their consent, we govern our children without their consent”.
Which is against the fundamentals of the democracy.
Thank you !
