    torn on providing my feedback

    Hello everyone,

From the book Hug Your Haters by Jay Baer:

I’m really torn on providing my feedback on this hotel. My family and I just spent 4 nights at the “41”. I consider it more of a private club than just a hotel. If everyone were to experience the level of service and genuine hospitality that my family did, then it would surely be everyone’s top choice to stay while in London, and my ability to get future reservations will be severely diminished.

Does it mean I'm very happy to provide my feedbaxk?

    Thank you.

Re: torn on providing my feedback

No. To be torn means to be pulled in two directions at once, to be very undecided.

On one hand, Baer (or someone Baer is quoting) thinks the hotel deserves a rave review. On the other hand, if too many people read the review, it will make it harder for the guest to get a room there.

The solution, of course is to not give any feedback. But apparently the guest hasn't thought of that.

The guest couldn't decide whether to provide feedback or not.
