After I do the work, you could talk and convince Kevin

    Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"After I do the work, you could talk and convince Kevin to make another video, explaining that all was an inside joke between Kevin and me."

    Thanks.

Dear teechar: Once again, thanks for all your help.

There are two persons talking and the made a deal. One of them, who lately has no good reputation, will take a role in a play she had initially rejected. And as an incentive he asks the other person to compensate her with that special favor to clear her reputation.

    Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean by the highlighted parts.
I suspect that your sentence should start with "if/after I do the work, could you please talk to Kevin and, etc."

    Does that help?
