    Question approach sth

"The book completely lacks this important information, so I have no basic idea how the authors approached the analysis."

    Is it fine?
    Thanks!

    Re: approach sth

    Hello Nyggus

    You might say:

"The book fails to provide this important information, so I have no idea how the authors approached the analysis."

(Or "so I haven't the faintest idea", in an informal context.)

    All the best,

    MrP
