    What is the difference between "another" and "the other"?

    What is the difference between "another" and "the other" as a adjective and pronoun, and between "other" and "the other" as an adjective and also between "others" and "the others" as a pronoun, I am still confused to put them in the sentences, do I put "other" and "the other" in the sentece ? And what the difference

    These are some sentences I am still confused about them,

    1. come back another day

    2. She went to the park the other day

    What the difference? And can we change "another" in first sentence to "the other"?

    3. Some other way has to be found

    Why does that sentence use "other way" and not "other ways"? As I know other is followed by plural noun

    Another day means a day other than today, or other than the day which has been established as a reference point. You can't replace "another" with "the other".

    The other day is an expression that means a day in the recent past, sometime within the last two or three weeks.

    We say some other way has to be found because we're seeking a single, different way to do something.
