    Hello, teachers

In the next sentence, does the underlined utilizing sound okay?

Fantasy role-playing provides an ideal environment to cultivate and test the productive use of imagination, utilizing it to enliven the fantasy narratives, and empathize with others.

I wonder if FRP utilizes imagination or people utilize imagination. If people utilize imagination, I think the underlined word should be changed into 'letting people utilize it~. What do you think?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: utilizing

I think it is pointless to say "utilize" when you can say "use".
