# Thread: If XYZ team scores 100 runs every two wickets or if they lose two wickets every

1. ## If XYZ team scores 100 runs every two wickets or if they lose two wickets every

If XYZ team scores 100 runs every two wickets or if they lose two wickets every 100 runs so by the time they lose their fourth wicket they will have scored 400 runs.

3. ## Re: If XYZ team scores 100 runs every two wickets or if they lose two wickets every

Your use of XYZ is very tiresome, and not everybody will know what sport you are talking about, so start 'If the Australian cricket team scores 100 runs ...'

4. ## Re: If XYZ team scores 100 runs every two wickets or if they lose two wickets every

Also, we don't call a sports team "Yankees team"; we call it "the Yankees". If your audience may not know that the Yankees are a baseball team, write "the Yankees baseball team".

See post #3 and add the word that Rover used between "If" and "Australian".
