    in accordance with sb's research

I am wondering whether it is correct to say "In accordance with sb's research young people are learning languages quickly." I heard that "in accordance with" is used in law, rather in theses. I've got a confusion because I don't want to use "According to". Are there other expressions to say "According to"? ;) Thank you in advance

You were misinformed. Any reasonable dictionary will tell you the difference between in accordance with and according to.
