    semicolon

    When do you usually use semicolon ?
    Because I think they can usually be replaced by full stop, or comma.

    I was not sure semicolon suits this case below, for example.

    dimensions: width,xxxx height,xxxx (including the handle; excluding the prings)

    Three things.

    Always space after (but not before) any punctuation mark.

    You can replace a semicolon with a period, not a comma.
