    Is "I recommend him to be chosen for this post" correct?

    It's better to say, more simply, I recommend him for this post/position.

    You can also say "I recommend that he be chosen for this post/position".
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
