three days' salary/payment from my salary

    Hi,

Salary or payment? Which one should I use?

It is, therefore, requested to deduct three days' salary/payment from my salary.

The word you're looking for is the noun "pay", but the overall sentence is ambiguous. Try rewriting it in a simpler and more direct way. Use more words if necessary.
