    Politics "pursues" me

In a case when I want to indicate that each essay concerned politics, can I say "Politics pursues me" ?

What essays? Whose essays? We need some more context. Please give us the surrounding sentences.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: Politics "pursues" me

Folks, I have written few essays concerning politics. Time's up and I have to hand in and I would like to write to my teacher that "Politics pursues me" because I chose all topics concerning just politics

It doesn't sound natural to me. Maybe "Politics consumes/fascinates me" would work.
