    Would you please correct the mistakes in my sentence?

    His mother told Jim he was ungrateful because he didn't appreciate how well off they were.

    It's OK, but it's more common to start 'Jim's mother told him ...'

    To avoid potential ambiguities, try:
    Jim's mother told Jim (that) he was ungrateful and that he didn't appreciate how well off they were.
