    Comma

    1. When I was in primary school, I was a good student, never skipped class.
why do we need to add a comma before never?

2.The photographer is back with more famous landmarks interacting with his whimsical paper cutouts.
Why we need not to a comma before interacting?

    Re: Comma

Personally, I would use a period instead of a comma if I was transcribing 1. from speech.

I don't really understand 2. well enough to comment.

    Re: Comma

A full stop (BrE) is a period (AmE).
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
