    end/disconnect

    Hi,

If I'm talking to someone on the phone, what should I use; end or disconnect?

I am going to end/disconnect the call.

What do you mean? What you should use depends entirely on what you want to do. You need to tell us a lot more if you want advice.

    Re: end/disconnect

In American English we usually say something like "I have to hang up now."
    I am not a teacher.

    Re: end/disconnect

Of course, it all depends on how rude/polite you want to be. You don't need any language to simply put the phone down, or press the 'End Call' button.
