    the chance vs. the possibility

    Question:
My job gives me ... to travel all over the world.

    - the chance - correct answer
    - the possibility - incorrect answer

Why 'the possibility' is incorrect answer?

    Thanks.

"The possibility" has to be followed by of+gerund. You could say your job gives you the possibility of traveling, but not "the possibility to travel".

Note my correction above. Questions require subject-verb inversion.
