    I like to play balls

    Hello, everyone.

If I want to say I like to play different kinds of balls (like basketball, baseball etc), could I simply say I like to play balls?

The difficulty is that balls also mean testicles, so how can I say I like to play "really" balls?

PS. If there is any grammatically wrong in my narrative, please correct it. I am grateful for your help.

Re: I like to play balls

Say that you like to play many different sports.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

Well, yes, it is not commnly heard. But I feel that it is instantly comprehensible.

You could say "I really like to play ball sports". No one would be confused by that.

    I am not a teacher.

Re: I like to play balls

I'd go with "ballgames" first, then "ball sports". In BrE, we sometimes say "Do you want to play ball?" but it relies on the listener already knowing what you want to play. We also sometimes use "to play ball" to describe what we do when we throw a ball for a dog and hope that he/she goes and fetches it. It's more commonly called "Fetch".
"To play ball" is also an idiom.

Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
