    Verb "ensnare"

I have tried to use "ensnare" in my sentence. I am wondering if my sentence makes sense in English. Would you please correct my mistakes?

Ensnared in the worlds of drugs and crimes, Peter struggled every day to stay alive.

See above. I would use "Peter struggled to stay alive every day" but your word order is not wrong.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
