    around / all over

How could I make the following sentences sound natural?

Staying in a youth hostel has many benefits. Besides the lower room rates, you can also do the laundry and cook there, not to mention meeting new friends from around (all over) the world.

    Re: around / all over

Consider using "accommodation" instead of "room."
Use "your laundry" instead of "the laundry."
Use "make new friends" instead of "meeting new friends."
