    Need or should

This question is in my exercise book.
________ we discuss this any further? I'm sure we've all got a good idea of the problem now.
    A- Should
    B- Need (key)
    Why isn't A chosen, please?

    Re: Need or should

Need is more natural in the context of the second sentence, which suggests that the speaker feels there is no need.

    Re: Need or should

I would prefer "do we need to discuss this any further?"

    Re: Need or should

Sadly for learners, the most natural choice for native speakers is frequently not one of the options on a test.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
