I am telling you if pet dogs are left alone for a long time

Which of the following is correct? Is this kind of a mixed-conditional?
The first one was written by my English teacher, but I think it might be wrong.
The first and second one is my sentence.

I am telling you if pet dogs are left alone for a long time they would feel lonely in the same way that humans do.

I am telling you if pet dogs are left alone for a long time they will feel lonely in the same way that humans do.

I am telling you if pet dogs are left alone for a long time they might, may, could, can feel lonely in the same way that humans do.

    Re: conditional

I believe you meant that you wrote the second and third. You're right, your teacher's sentence is wrong. Sentence 2 is correct. None of the options in sentence 3 work except for "can".
    I am not a teacher.

Some native speakers would use 'might' these days.

Newkeenlearner, I have changed your thread title. Titles should include some/all of the words/phrases you are querying.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
