extension: act of expanding in scope

Extension: Act of expanding in scope; making more widely available

Extension of above definition is very common but only with the example:"extension of the program to all in need"

What are other collocations with extension in this sense other than program? And would you please give example sentences using them?

    Thank you.

Actually no, I would like to see the uses of the meaning given. I know the meaning used in your examples but mine is different and rare one. Because you did this as a native speaker, it is clear that I asked the question badly. Would somebody also correct the question please?

Meaning and definition:Extension: Act of expanding in scope; making more widely available
An example: extension of the program to all in need

Collocation is here "the program". I am looking for other collocations in this meaning.

    Thank you.
