Kelly and Kevin walked down the street

    Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"Kelly and Kevin walked down the street. Kelly walked on purpose under a staircase. Kevin preferred to avoid the stairs, walking in another path. Then he ran to catch up Kelly."

    Thanks.

    Dear teechar:

Yes, it is related to a superstition.

    Thanks.

Re: Kelly and Kevin walked down the street

I've never heard of a superstition about walking under staircases, only about walking under ladders.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
